Non-Government Organizations What follows is a partial listing of organizations offering assistance in implementing the employment, public services, and public accommodations provisions of the ADA. Virtually all of the organizations listed below provide information and referral services on ADA matters. Many publish newsletters and/or journals and hold meetings at least annually at which ADA implementation issues have been, and are likely to continue to be, a popular subject for panels, speakers, and workshops to address. Some of these organizations also hold periodic seminars on the ADA that are occasionally open to non-members as well as members. Specific information on these activities, as well as membership information, may be obtained from the organizations. Many of these organizations are in the process of developing additional ADA-related services and products following the publication by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Justice of final regulations for titles I, II, and III of the ADA on July 26, 1991.
